Puppy Playcare
Puppy Playcare is drop-off play + train group program at our Camano Island facility that is designed for puppies under 4 months (16 weeks) of age!
Each session lasts 4 hours and is the perfect daycare option for young puppies!
Your puppy will be with our certified trainer for the entire session and will get structured training and enrichment, curated socialization, and supervised play with other puppies!
What will my puppy learn?
-
Raising a puppy takes a village, we’re here to help!
Let us teach your puppy good habits like attention, sit, down, settling on a bed, door manners, and polite greetings!
Our certified trainer also helps to create good habits for concerns like jumping, biting, and chewing!
-
Your puppy will be strategically, positively exposed to new sights, smells, sounds, and people/dogs each week to support their early development and socialization!!
-
We curate a routine for play, enrichment, as well as potty breaks and nap times!
Puppies will have both time individually and for group play!

Requirements
-
ONE ROUND OF VACCINES REQUIRED: All puppies 16 weeks and younger must have received at least one round of DHPP vaccinations, and Bordetella at least seven days prior to their participation in class and proof of vaccinations must be provided.
MONTHLY PREVENTATIVES: Puppies of all ages must be up to date on:
Monthly flea/tick
Monthly internal parasite preventative
-
NO DOG PARKS/DAYCARES: Because dog parks and daycares can harbor disease, we have a strict no daycare or dog park policy. If your puppy is visiting dog parks/day care you will have to stop going and request a fecal test from your vet to be performed 7 days after the last dog park visit to be able to enroll in Playcare.
DIARRHEA OR VOMITING: Your puppy will be asked to leave class immediately if they have diarrhea or vomiting in class. A negative fecal test result from the vet will be required to return to class.
PROTECTED FROM DISEASE: All puppies must be on a regular vaccination schedule during class and they should NOT be visiting daycares or dog parks as risk of disease contact is high in those environments.
ILLNESS: Do not bring your puppy to class if they are limping, wheezing, sneezing, coughing, vomiting or have diarrhea.
-
PRIOR TRAINING: puppies will need to be comfortable with a kennel if needed and have basic potty training.
Playcare is a fun way to get continued training and socialization, but is not a substition for formal training classes! Not enrolled? Take a look at our Puppy Pre-K and Puppy Kindergarten training classes!
-
Some puppies, especially if they are very timid, may show us that this training set up is too much for them to handle. If needed, puppies sometimes may benefit from a different type of training setup, such as private training or group classes!
